Project Name: University of Notre Dame - Engineering North Nanotechnology Research Building
Location: Notre Dame, Indiana
This new 28,000sf building is designed to function as a stand-along engineering facility. It will serve a select group of Engineering faculty for Nanotechnology and other research. This new facility contains a materials synthesis laboratory, a nanotechnology laboratory, a 16,000sf “learning center”, a first floor commons area and additional build-out space for future laboratories. Gibson-Lewis self performed the drywall and metal framing, carpentry and millwork, cabinetry, concrete and acoustical ceilings as well as the painting/wallcoverings and doors and windows.
