Project Name: Elkhart General Hospital West Wing
Location: Elkhart, Indiana

Gibson-Lewis was instrumental in completing the new West Wing for Elkhart General Hospital. This new 182,000sf, three level addition is seamlessly connected between the Main Hospital and the Parking Garages.

The new open Main Entrance features twin skylights and a waterwall. Also found on the first floor are the new Women’s Center, Breast Care Center and Auditorium. The 2nd floor includes a Family Centered Maternity Care Center, Labor & Delivery Suites, Recovery & Postpartum Rooms, Caesarian-Section Operating Facilities, a Natal Intensive Care Unit and a Well-Baby Nursery. The Radiation and Oncology Center is located on the lower level along with the Ambulatory Infusion Center. On this floor a beautiful courtyard area in centered with a peaceful fountain and gardens nestled adjacent to registration and waiting rooms.
