Gibson-Lewis was selected as the general contractor by the City of Laporte for its new contemporary Fire Station #2. This new 4,000sf fire station was built to house a three-shift crew complete with a 20-bed dormitory and a spacious kitchen. Included in this building were two large bays designed to house 4 vehicles including two ladder trucks.

Gibson-Lewis self-performed the concrete, carpentry, millwork, drywall/metal studs, painting and acoustical.
