This was a renovation of the second and third stories of the Skyway Building at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. The space houses the newly expanded Ronald McDonald House. This charity houses the families of the patients from Memorial Hospital’s Children’s Hospital. Ronald McDonald has offered this service for years, but on a much smaller scale. The expansion went from just a few rooms to twenty spacious rooms that are offered to the families at no charge.
